Sanctuary
of Monserrate: Located 3.190 meters above sea level in the Eastern
Mountain Range of Bogota, it dominates the city. There stands "The
Fallen Lord," an old temple constructed as a place of pilgrimage.

Candelaria Neighborhood: The most traditional neighborhood in
Bogota with narrow, cobble-stone streets and colonial houses. It's one

Gold Museum of the Banco de la República : This is the best museum
of gold in the world. It went through some renovations a few years ago
and will now leave the visitor breathless!

Bull Fighting PLaza: A beautiful piece of architecture where
the best bullfighters of the world come to show their skills.

Planetarium: One of the most important investigation and cultural
centers in Bogota, the planetarium's equipment is sophisticated so that
its visitors can appreciate the stars, planets, eclipses and other celestial
phenomena.

Interactive Science and Technology Center. It stands out because of

PARKS

National
Park: One of the principal lungs of the city located on the skirts
of the Eastern Mountain Range, it has a variety of sporting areas including
football, basketball, aerobics, running routes, cycling circuits and
many others. On Sundays and holidays there are programmed activities
by the Mayor.

Simón
Bolívar Metropolitan Park: It took over 10 years to complete
its construction, but it was worth the wait. This beautiful park has
trees, a lake where you can rent boats, running and cycling trails,
playgrounds, and more. It also has amphitheaters for musicians, theater,
and other outdoor entertainment.

Independence
Park: This little park in the Capital's
center is a refuge from the busy city streets with its well-kept gardens,
a stage for small outdoor performances and more. It was, in fact, the
first construction in Bogota to use cement.
