Colombia has a great variety of lodging choices for teh tourist from 5-star hotels that meet the standards of any luxury hotel in the world to family pensions, distinguished for their hospitality, cleanliness, and kindness.

Lodging prices vary between US $10/night to US $150/night. And, like most places in the world, the high season is July, Easter Week, and Christmastime. The months of December and January tend to be costlier in Colombia because this is when kids are on school vacation.

Rural lodging options have become very popular in Colombia. They're usually farms that have been adapted to meet the needs of guests. In these farms you can appreciate livestock and agricultural processes, ride bicycles, ride horses, take relaxing ecological walks, and swim, depending on the farm.
