
NATURE
BUENAVENTURA:
City and port founded July 14, 1540, located on the Málaga Bay.
It's a commercial port, mainly for fishing, wood, and commerce. More
than 70% of external commerce passes through Buenaventura. Buenaventura,
itself, is not a good place to visit, but it is a great base for going
to some precious beaches on the Pacific Coast including Juanchaco and
Ladrilleros.

LOS
FARALLONES NATIONAL PARK: 20 minutes
from Cali on the Western Mountain Range, it's one of the zones with
the most biodiversity on the planet. This is the refuge of the Gallito
de Roca Bird.
LAGO
CALIMA: A man-made lake constructed
on the banks of the Darien Village -- 1.5 hours from Cali on the road
to Buenaventura. It's a great place for windsurfing and other water
sports.

BUGA:
City located 80 km from Cali, reconized nation-wide for the "Lord
of Miracles of Buga" in the cathedral.
LA
ERMITA: Colonial Church of Mercy.
It was the first temple erected in Cali and here the first Catholic
mass took place in 1536.
ARCHITECTURE
COMPLEX
OF SAN FRANCISCO- Cali : Constructed
between the XVIII and XIX centuries, it is formed by three works: The
temple of San Francisco, the Convent of San Joaquin, and the Chapel
of the Immaculate, with a beautiful Mudejar Style.
GOVERNMENT
PALACE - Cali: Found in the Don Francisco
Plaza where the Government of the Cauca Valley works. It offers a great
contrast between modern and old architecture.
OTERO
BUILDING - Cali: One of the most
beutiful buildings of the city, and a national monument with Barroque
Architecture. It was constructed between 1922 and 1926 by Sr. Emiliano
Otero's iniciative.

ARCHITECTURE
SAN
ANTONIO CHAPEL - Cali: Constructed
in the XVIII Century, its jewels are the Barroque Altar and paintings
from the school of Quito. Located at the Clle 1 Oeste Cra.10.
CHAPEL
AND CONVENT OF MERCY - Cali: The
oldest Colonial constructions of the city. It's located at Cra 3 No.
6 - 40
METROPOLITAN
CATHEDRAL - Cali: Construction began
in the VI century, but because of earthquakes, it was destroyed in the
XIX century. Pay close attention to the Sacred Saint in silver and its
collection of religious art. Clle 11 No. 5-53.

STATUE
OF SAINT SEBASTIÁN OF BELALCAZAR:
Located in the highest part of the Arboleda Neighborhood to the east
of the city. It's a representation, in bronze, of the founder of Cali.
MOUNTAIN
OF THREE CROSSES: These gigantic
crosses protect the city and from the top of this mountain you can see
an excellent panorama of the city. It's a traditional destination for
pilgrims in Easter Week.
COLONY
OF SAN ANTONIO: Located in the neighborhood
of the same name, it's considered one of the oldest neighborhoods and
is a patrimonial landmark. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful San Antonio
Chapel, constructed in 1747. There's also a beautiful lookout point
for a view of the city.

STATUE
OF CHRIST OUR LORD: A gigantic image
of Christ on the top of the Cristales Mountains. It's 26 meters high.
MUSEUMS
MUSEUM
OF COLONIAL AND RELIGIOUS ART - Cali:
This is the most beautiful Museum of Colonial Art in Colombia. It has
a collection of sacred objects and paintings from the Quitena School
of the XVI and XVII centuries.
MUSEUM/WORKSHOP
OF MODERN ART - Cali: Founded in
1956, of modern architecture, it has a conference room, cinema and open-air
theater.

MUSEO
RAYO - Roldanillo : In Roldanillo,
on the road to Pereira, you can visit the Rayo Museum that has a valuable
collection of the master artist Rayo and other Colombian artists as
well.

OF THE THREE CROSSES -
Cali: These gigantic crosses on top of the Western Mountains
protect the city. They are traditional destinations of pilgrims during
Easter Week. At night, they stand as quiet guardians of the city.

CAÑA WATER PARK-
Cali : Over
150 square meters of pools, slides, wave pools, tobbagans and more to
splash and refresh yourself under the sun!
LA
RETRATA PARK- Cali: Located next
to Ortiz Bridge, it has a kiosk, a replica of buildings dating back
to 1926. Here, you can come and listen to the music of the Municipal
Band some afternoons and evenings.
LOMA
DE LA CRUZ ARTESAN PARK -
Cali: located in the most traditional zone of the city where
more than 60 artists meet to offer a great variety of handmade crafts.
MUNICIPAL
ZOO: Located on the West of the city,
crossed by the Cali River. It's the only zoo in Colombia with an indoor
aquarium.
